Corto Moltedo the cool Italian accessories designer. he is a graduate of the family school of fashion and a son of the luxury brand of Bottega Veneta. today he is here in Bangkok from 27-29th January at The Ritz Carlton at MahaNakhon Pavilion for a trunk show and an exclusive preview of the spring summer 2012 collection. i got the privilege to sit down and talk with the designer about the collection. for this collection Corto Moltedo was much inspired by the trip to the Caribbean sea island. His reference of color the use of materials and sizing is toward something refreshing and special. fragile but strong at the same time. the richness of snake skin in color mix, leopard, python and soft fine quality genuine leather were use. my favorite piece from this collection gotta be the cassette clutch and priscilla in goat skin mandarine color. in addition to this Corto made the short films entitled "solitaria". http://www.corto.com/en/
